Feeds

The Feeds page allows you to organize and display groups of posts within Branchcast. Feeds can be used to categorize content such as blog posts, devotionals, or ministry updates, and control how they appear publicly. From this page, you can view, search, add, edit, or delete feeds.


Access Feeds

  1. From the left-side menu, click Content > Feeds.
  2. On the Feeds page, you can:
    • View all existing feeds.
    • Search for a specific feed.
    • Add a new feed.
    • Edit or delete existing feeds.

Feed List Details

Each feed listed includes:

  • Name – The title of the feed.
  • Post Count – The number of posts contained in the feed.
  • Actions – Options to Edit or Delete the feed.

View Feed Details

Click on a feed Name to view details and manage its content.
Each feed record includes:

  • Feed Image – The image associated with the feed.
  • Description – A summary or overview of what the feed includes.
  • Posts – Displays the posts published in the feed, with details such as:
    • Title – Click to view or edit the post.
    • Author – The creator of the post.
    • Post Date – The date the post was published.
    • ActionsEdit or Delete the post.
  • Next to the feed title, click Edit to update feed details or Delete to remove it.

Add a New Feed

  1. Click + New Feed.
  2. Enter the Feed Title.
  3. Add a Description of the feed.
  4. Choose the Default Sort Order for how posts display on the public page:
    • Descending – Most recent posts appear first.
    • Ascending – Earliest posts appear first.
  5. (Optional) Check Private to make the feed visible only to authorized users or followers.
  6. Check Email and/or Text to automatically send notifications to anyone following the feed.
    • Notifications are sent daily whenever new content is posted to the feed.
  7. Click Feed Image to upload an image (JPG or PNG format) representing the feed.
  8. Click Save when finished.

Tips

  • Use feeds to group posts by ministry, topic, or audience.
  • Enable email and text notifications to keep followers informed of new content.
  • Private feeds are ideal for internal or members-only updates.
  • Choose a descriptive image for better visibility in your public Branchcast page.
  • The sort order determines how followers view your most recent content.
