Authors

The Authors page allows you to manage the list of authors who can be associated with posts and feeds within Branchcast. From here, you can view all authors, add new ones, or remove authors as needed.


Access Authors

  1. From the left-side menu, click Content > Authors.
  2. On the Authors page, you can:
    • View all existing authors.
    • Add a new author.
    • Delete an author.

Author List Details

Each author listed includes:

  • Email Address – The email address used to identify the author.
  • Image – The author’s profile image, if available.
  • Status – Shows Invited until the author has completed account setup.
  • Actions – Option to Delete the author.

Add a New Author

  1. In the Email Address field, type the author’s email address.
  2. Click Add.
    • The author will receive an email invitation with instructions on how to create their Branchcast account.
    • Once they complete the account setup, they can upload a profile image and add their phone number.
    • Until they complete these steps, their status will display as Invited.
  3. After setup, the author’s profile image will appear in the list if they have uploaded one.

Tips

  • Authors are used to attribute content in Posts and Feeds.
  • Use a consistent email address for each contributor to ensure accurate author tracking.
  • If an author no longer contributes content, you can safely delete them from the list.
  • Encourage authors to complete their account setup so their image and contact information display properly.
