Sermons

The Sermons page is where you can view, search, and manage all of your sermons in Branchcast. From here, you can add new sermons, edit existing ones, and embed your sermon player on your website.


Access Sermons

  1. From the left-side menu, click Sermons.
  2. On the Sermons page, you can:
    • View all existing sermons.
    • Search for a specific sermon.
    • Add a new sermon.
    • Embed the sermon player on your website.

Sermon List Details

Each sermon listed includes:

  • Title – The sermon’s name.
  • Series – The series it belongs to (if applicable).
  • Speaker – The person delivering the sermon.
  • Date Posted – When the sermon was published.
  • Actions – Options to Edit, Get Embed Code, or Delete the sermon.

Add a New Sermon

Tips: Before adding sermons, set up your Speakers and Series under Sermons > Speakers and Sermons > Series. Add Tags under Data > Tags and Feeds/Study Topics under Content > Feeds and Study Topics to make creation smoother.

  1. Click + New Sermon.
  2. Enter the Sermon Title.
  3. From the dropdown menus, select the Speaker and Series.
  4. Choose the Passage Start and Passage End from Scripture. To select a passage:
    • Click Passage Start.
    • Choose the Book (e.g., Philippians).
    • Select the Chapter (e.g., 4).
    • Choose the Verse (e.g., 8).
    • Click Add Scripture Reference to add additional passages as needed.
  5. In the Description box, enter details or a summary of the sermon.
  6. Add the Sermon Date (required).
  7. Choose a Publish At date to schedule when the sermon goes live.
  8. Add video links:
    • Sermon YouTube or Vimeo Link – Paste the direct sermon link (include the full https://).
    • Full Service YouTube or Vimeo Link – Paste the link for the full worship service, if applicable (include the full https://).
  9. From the dropdown menus, select the Feed and Study Topics.
  10. To make the sermon easier to find, select one or more Available Tags.
  11. (Optional) Check Feature on Home Page to highlight the sermon on your homepage.
  12. Add media files:
    • Audio File – Upload an MP3 file.
    • Video File – Upload directly from your computer (drop or browse).
    • Sermon Image – Add a JPEG or PNG image.
    • Attachments – Click Add Attachment to include additional files.
  13. Click Save when finished.
  • Images: JPEG or PNG, no size restriction.
  • Audio: MP3 format, no size restriction.
  • Video: Review your plan’s storage limits for uploaded files.
